First Doctorate (1994)
Paul Pallath defended his first doctoral thesis at the Pontifical Oriental Institute in Rome on 10 January 1994.
Second Doctorate (1997)

On 22 June 2004 after the declaration of Augustine Thevarparampil (Kunjachan) as venerable, Paul Pallath kissed the hands of Bl. John Paul II.
Presentation of the Book on Christian Initiation (2011)
The book entitled, Iniziazione cristiana nella Chiesa siro-malabarese: liturgia, teologia, storia e riforma, published by L'Urbaniana University Press, was offcially presented on 7 April 2011 at the Aula Newman of the University. His Excellency Msgr. Cyril Vasil', Secretary of the Congregation for the Eastern Churches, Prof. Edward G. Farrugia SJ, Prof. Manuel Nin OSB spoke at the occasion. International Liturgy Congress on the Anaphora of Addai and Mari (2011)
The Congress entitled, The Anaphoral Genesis of the Institution Narrative in Light of the Anaphora of Addai and Mari, was held at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome from 25 to 26 October 2011. Paul Pallath presented a papar about the vicissitudes of the Anaphora of Addai and Mari among the St Thomas Christians in India.

Meeting of the Presbyterium in Palai (2012)
A meeting of the priests of the diocese of Palai was held on 4 September 2012 for deciding matters concerning the consecration of Fr. Jacob Muricken, auxiliary bishop elect. Msgr.
